Restaurant to Retail: Complete AC System Restoration in Sharjah
Client: Spice Shop, Sharjah
Scope of Work: Restoration and Reinstallation of Samsung Inverter Ducted AC Units with Duct Works

Project Overview
A former restaurant space in Sharjah was being converted into a spices retail shop. The location had seven Samsung inverter ducted air conditioning units that had remained inactive for a long period, along with an outdated duct system that was no longer suitable for the new layout.
The client required a reliable cooling solution while maximizing the use of the existing equipment.

The Challenge
The project presented several technical challenges:
-
The seven inverter ducted units had been unused for an extended period
-
The existing duct system was unsuitable for the new retail layout
-
Each inverter unit required careful electronic and mechanical testing
-
Future maintenance accessibility needed to be considered
-
A clean and efficient drainage system had to be implemented
Diagnosing inverter systems requires advanced technical expertise, as each unit contains sensitive electronic components that must be individually checked.

Our Approach
The team at John Paul AC carried out a complete system restoration and redesign.
The process included:
• Removing all 7 Samsung inverter ducted AC units
• Carefully dismantling the existing duct network
• Fully servicing each unit
• Individually testing electronic and mechanical components
• Identifying and resolving faults within the inverter systems
• Designing a new duct layout suitable for the retail space
• Strategically reinstalling units for future maintenance accessibility
• Installing new Samsung thermostats
• Providing clean, hassle-free drainage solutions
Each inverter system was thoroughly checked and restored to ensure reliable performance.
